"I'm going to count to five..." "Well I'm going to count to three"

So this past week has been crazy to say the least!! At work, there have been games every other day and a lot of tensions in the office. The other intern and I knew something was up with our boss last week when she was crying a little bit... Then on Wednesday, she told us that she put in her resignation and her last day was Friday (today). Needless to say, I was in shock. She said that things were not working with her and the owners/GM. She was planning on this to be her last season with FC Dallas, but it ended a little sooner than she had anticipated. She said that we could end our internship if we wanted, but I think it's best that I continue until August 10th like I had planned... What else have I got going on, and plus, I don't want to miss the hysteria of the David Beckham game and all the cool stuff that we have coming up. However, I do think that I am getting a little lazy in the office. Or maybe it's just I don't like calling businesses and asking for them to donate stuff to us. It is very frustrating and depressing, but I think everything will work out. If you give me projects to do and things to create, I am great. I worked on the website a lot this week, and I think we should have it launched on Monday hopefully. Everyone is taking off to Denver next week for the All Star Game, so let's hope that I can do some fun Dallas - Touristy stuff... I think Brian and I are going to go to Six Flags, so that should be fun. I want to head down to Austin, but I don't know if I can muster up enough people to join me.

Brian and I have been pretty much doing something every night for the past few weeks. We saw Transformers (I didn't like it, but he did)... The special effects were pretty good, but other than that... it wasn't very substantive. (oh and apparently I use really big words, even in my texts and it's unusual). We also went to The Fray concert this week. It was at Smirnoff Music Centre. We just got the cheap lawn tickets, but I thought that it was a lot of fun. They had some good opening bands and they played a lot of new songs to add to their set. They also played some covers... when they played "Hips Don't Lie" I was just cracking up. It was fun. Brian had never gone to a concert before, so I had to make sure that he was cultured.

Tonight, we're seeing Harry Potter... I'm pretty excited for that. My mom was pretty surprised that it's been out for a couple days and I hadn't seen it yet... Hey when you have to work and then go to a concert, it doesn't leave room for a 2.5 hour movie. I think we're going to painting his room tomorrow, so that should be interesting.

I can't believe that this summer is practically over... only a few more weeks and I'm back in Michigan. Next week, HP and the Deathly Hallows comes out, the next weekend I'm going to Michigan for Ed's wedding, and then it's just 2 more weeks of work stuff until my mom comes down and we road trip back... I need to start looking for a fall job!
