Whatever, man. I'm not saying bulwark

On Friday, we saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I really thought they did a good job, but I was disappointed in the fight in the end. They didn't do as much cool stuff in the ministry (the rotating room, the 'love' room door, the brain room) and they didn't get split up and the others weren't as involved in the fighting as I think they should have been. Also, I didn't like how everyone heard the prophecy, because it was supposed to be just Harry (when it broke, not when he grabbed it) and then it was something private that he chose to share with his friends in book six. Also, the fight between Voldemort and Dumbledore was cool, but I just pictured it differently, and the fountain being used differently... like the fountain coming to life, not Dumbledore taking water from the fountain. However, I do think that Imelda Staunton (Umbridge) did a fantastic job. Harry was particularly moody and if fit quite well. I do wish that we would have gotten to know all of the characters a little better... like Tonks and Zacharias Smith and whatnot, but we didn't have hours and hours.

On Saturday, Brian and I painted his room. It was blue and brown before, so he thought a nice bright yellow would work. I think it looks pretty good, but it is pretty bright, so I hope that he can live with it. I learned that if I want blonde highlights, all I need to do is paint with yellow paint because I got paint splatter all in my hair. It was a long day, but lots of fun. We still have to paint the ceiling (which apparently we should have done first) and the trim, but after doing a coat of primer, and 2 coats on the walls of the two different colors of yellow we had for a two-tone effect, I think we were about done. We'll probably finish Monday or Tuesday. It depends because he has jury duty on Monday. I kind of think it would be good for him to be on a jury because he claims he wants to go into politics... A little civic duty never hurt anyone (well it probably has, but I'm choosing to ignore that)
