So before school starts I'm trying to get appointments and errand-y things done. I went to the Secretary of State and renewed my license and the tabs on my car... man that was expensive and it took forever. (Car insurance is expensive too!) Soon, I will no longer be among the vertical license holders, but a full fledged adult with all the privileges it holds... Yay for turning 21. But there was a hearse in the parking lot, so that was very odd to me. If you ask me, driving around in a hearse would not be my preferred method of transportation. I also went to the dentist and scheduled an appointment with the oral surgen. Hopefully if I need my wisdom teeth out, that they can take care of it before school starts. I also have to do all this crap for Kinesiology Student Government... I knew that I shouldn't have agreed to be VP because I wouldn't have time for it, but either they are going to have meetings on Tuesdays (I'm sure Thursdays will be vetoed) or I'll get kicked off of it... I don't know if Tim is the most organized person to be President, so we'll see how this year goes. Hopefully we can delegate to our representatives and let them take care of a lot of things. And I don't think that Ari ever reimbursed us last year... hmmm... I'll have to bring that up.
I've been catching up with lots of friends since I've been back, which is really good. I went to this Lia Sophia (jewelry) party with one of my good friends from high school, and I didn't really like it. It was boring... just come learn about Lia Sophia, and spend lots of money on it too... I guess if you have money it would be fun, because there was a lot of cool jewelry that would have been nice to get, but not since it was so expensive for broke college grads. I went to Ann Arbor and went to Keen and saw people there. That was fun. Life is funny sometimes. It's kind of just like "same old - same old" for people. I'm not sure if I think that's a good thing or a bad thing. A little excitement is good, but too much excitement might not be all that great. I got to hang out with my "foreign friends" as I like to call them from high school too. They're all super smart and planning pharmacy, medical, and grad school... They all know what they want, so that's intimidating.
I had a couple of job offers for work this semester. (I'm trying to find a job MWF since I don't have class) So I had to turn one down, that would have been great, had I been working in Ann Arbor. So I took the job pretty close to home and hope that it will be good enough so that I want to come to work every day. From what Esha was telling me, I'm not sure if it will be. A fun environment, but very demanding. If can just last for 15 weeks, I'll be fine. That's all I ask.
