Study Break

To avoid however many more days of bad luck I'm supposed to have and to avoid studying for my last law school finals, I suppose I can participate in this little blog chain mail type activity. It is surprisingly more difficult than originally anticipated...

The Random Things
1. I am in love with smart phones for the ability to Google anything at any time. Mostly to resolve questions that come up in normal conversation. this happens to me at least once a day.
2. I love to travel. My top travel destinations right now would be Peru or the Taj Mahal. Or Cambodia/Laos/Vietnam
3. I don't really think Pinterest is as amazing as people hold it out to be.
4. I am a TV junkie
5. Law School is not as hard as people think it is. Getting a job. Now that's hard.
6. I had a lazy eye and an eye patch as a child.
7. I really want to do more adventure-type activities - hang gliding, kite surfing, etc.
8. I think I'm a lot funnier than I really am
9. In that same train of thought, I wish I were a stand up comedian.
10. I hate cooking and I am grateful for anyone who offers to cook for me.
11. I plan on having a dark room in my house some day for some old fashioned film photography.

New Questions:
What's your favorite drink? Water. That's probably pretty lame. But I really only drink water and milk.

What animal are you most afraid of? I recently learned that I am terrified of little mice in my closet. After the 3rd one I was able to handle them better. The initial shock was what really got me.

What is your favorite thing to do on vacation? I love trying new things on vacation. New adventures. New restaurants. I don't like "relaxing" because I don't know how to. I like to be doing stuff and seeing stuff.

Do you like your name? If not, what do you wish your name was? Yes! I love my name.

What are your top three favorite movies? Please no judgment... Where the Heart Is, A Knight's Tale (RIP Heath Ledger), and The Incredibles

What are some characteristics you look for in a friend? Funny, interesting, loyal, creative

Do you consider yourself creative? In what ways? Yes. I think that I often think creatively and I like adding creativity into my daily life with different activities, or styles. Going against the grain and not caring what people think.

What's your favorite season, and why? I honestly have no idea. I like them all for different reasons. I probably like fall the best because I think it has the best weather to be outside, and I love college football and playing soccer outside.

Do you believe in ghosts? No.

What is your ideal weekend? (Relaxing at home, time outdoors, getting work done?) My weekends have been so full of studying for the past 3 years that I don't really know what I would do if I had extra time. Probably check out a museum or festival in my city, go to a restaurant with a type of food I've never tried and watch a movie with friends. Or instead of watching a movie just have some deep conversation about philosophy ... or time travel... or something.

Are you a dog person or cat person? (Or "other") I'm not a cat person because I'm allergic. I don't mind dogs, but I wouldn't call myself a "dog person." I've never really had a strong desire for pets.

This was a lot more difficult than I anticipated, so I'm not going "tag" anyone. Especially since I don't have 11 blogging friends. But I hope you enjoyed the random narcissism I could share with you.
