Oh, the irony

It's the end of January and I still don't have a job lined up for the summer, which is pretty scary.

I sent my resume to a legal aid organization in Detroit after talking with the director for a minute. She received my resume and replied, you realize this is a volunteer position, right? You're qualifications are very impressive.

Yep, that's right. People who are looking for volunteers realize I have the qualifications to have a more prestigious job. Unfortunately, the more prestigious places found somebody else. I hate the job market.

Will someone please hire me and pay me? I'll do good work. I promise.
