It's a mystery

So yesterday I got to my carrel and there was this random sign on it:

... I don't know anyone named Doug... What does this sign mean? I normally walk to school so I'm not really taking anyone's real parking spot... I'm honestly confused.

So what do we think? ... just plain randomness? ... as my friend says "mystery admirer" ...?

How am I going to get towed from my desk? Many, many questions...
