I'm slacking in picture updating, sheesh! So I kept on thinking that I didn't have any pictures to post and people have been telling me that I need to put some actual pictures of me in my blog and I totally forgot all about these!! This first photo is of me the day I got my mission call to the best mission ever: Barcelona, Spain!! February 6, 2008...
Jason and Kristen celebrating with me after the adult session of stake conference at Sweetwater's cafe in Ann Arbor. There are no Spanish restaurants in Ann Arbor surprisingly, so we went to a cafe and got hot chocolate and dessert to play it up European style... yeah, it's the best we can do.
Jake and Stephanie helping me get psyched up for my mission
Some good friends of mine got married November 10th, and this is Julia and I at Natalie's bachelorette party at Pub 13 in Ypsi (is that where we went?) I was the only one with a camera, so I should probably send these on to the bride... I'll get right on that.
Me and the lovely bride. This is my scandalous face. Their wedding was a lot of fun too. I brought my camera, but didn't take any photos... I was too busy dancing with MC. I was wearing way to big of heels to dance though.
As stated in my previous post, we weren't home (well I was home alone) for Thanksgiving. We had thanksgiving on Saturday. This is me and my awesome grandma. She came over before I had a chance to blow dry my hair. I had to say hi and get some pics, then I went and blow dried it, so it looked semi-nice, don't worry... (I'm sure you didn't even notice) And yes, my grandma does not smile in photos... she just keeps talking... It is quite funny. I guess when she was a kid, digital cameras weren't that big and people weren't snapping shots ever chance they got.
The orange dishes are from my parents wedding... they were into orange and green for some reason, but we always use these dishes for big dinners that aren't Christmas (we have Christmas dishes...) So the purposes of these pumpkin pie pictures are to show Brian that my mom made a pie without a crust... The reason is because my dad is on a diet and cutting out the crust cuts out half the calories... and I prefer the filling to the crust anyway. He didn't believe me that you could make a pie without any crust, and I explained to him that the filling sets (I should have said it was a custard pie, but I didn't think about it) so it's not a problem. I then went onto explain that an apple pie wouldn't work because the crust holds the filling in and doesn't set in place. Anyway, this pie doesn't have a crust... which is why there are 3 pictures...
The one slice view that is a little blurry... But still no crust.
You can kind of tell in this picture, right? The bottom kind of stuck to the pan...
So it's definitely finals time... I wrote a couple of papers this weekend. Today I wrote a paper that maximum length is 11 pages, and I wrote 13 and I changed the margins to too small. I have to do some serious cutting by Thursday. Ugh... paper writing is loads of fun... Only 1 more paper (after I turn in the 2 I wrote this weekend) a project, and an exam and I'm then I'm a graduate!!!
Ok, I don't want to hear any complaints on my blog for 2 weeks at least!

Well, it sounds like you are totally syched for the mission. Its awesome. My first companion´s brother went to that mission. He might still be in that mission. Elder Klev. Anyways, of course you can have a pie without crust...but it sure taste better with it. Oh how I miss pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin bread, uhmmm did I forget anything? Don´t be afraid so send some of that pie down to Peru...oh wait...I´m sure its all gone by now and the only remains are the pic. Well, good luck preparing for the mission...sometimes we think we´re ready for the mission...and nobody really is.
I didn't mind not having the crust. I prefer the filling. I like the bottom crust, but I don't usually eat the top crust because it's not flavorful enough.
My mission prep isn't really going until I finish the semester. I have a hard enough time doing that homework!
