Well, it's Christmas time, and everyone already has their trees up, so my family decided to pull ours out of the basement. (we usually do this the day after/weekend of Thanksgiving, but this year was a little different due to parents visiting Alabama). Well, our tree is an artificial pre-lit tree and this is as far as we got... (The living trees don't work for us, one kept on falling over and one got too many pine needles everywhere and my mom thought artificial would be better)
Sorry for the blurry pictures, but using the flash totally washed out all the lights and you couldn't even see that there was an area in the tree devoid of light. I hope you can tell, but there is a significant area of the tree where the lights are not on. (I guess nobody's home... I crack myself up)
So, we searched the unlit area and cannot find a missing light bulb anywhere, so we are at a loss for what to do right now. I know that my parents aren't going to buy a new tree (they'll just wait until after Christmas if they do) because it's in great condition except for the chunk not lit up. I'm a little bummed and I just can't get into the Christmas spirit. Well, on the 19th I'll get into the Christmas spirit... :)
