I'm in Law School, of course I'm opinionated

I think that I'm at a point in my life that I like to speak my mind. Of course I like to have tact and not be a jerk about it. But when I think one of my best friends is wrong, I'm not afraid to say that.

If you come to me and complain about a problem, and I think that you could easily remedy it, I'll tell you so. And then you tell me that you're not willing to change your behavior because of the passive-aggressive actions of others, I'm going to tell you that I understand that the other person is not acting maturely, but by you being stubborn, that doesn't solve the problem. Get over yourself and do what you need to do to fix the problem.

Is it wrong of me to tell my friends that they're wrong?

I think I'm more willing to tell my friends that they're wrong because they are my friends. I probably wouldn't give the same advice to a complete stranger, or to two people that I'm the court appointed mediator in their dispute.

But I hope that my friends will tell me when I'm wrong so that I can make a choice: Continue to be stubborn, or change and be happy.

Love it! This is totally you.

I would say, it depends on what you think the role of a friend is.
