Recently, I was gchatting with a friend and decided that the lack of dating was due to Stake Dances.
Stake Dances are actually probably a good way to learn to socialize and ask a girl to dance. But it was amusing in the moment to blame all YSA problems on Stake Dances.
Because after interacting with mid-to-late twenty-somethings, you really start to wonder.
For example, I created a registration page for a huge ward event. One of the questions was "Is there anything else we should know?" This was purposefully a general questions because I can't anticipate all needs and want you to tell me if you have a separate issue.
Some of the expected quality responses centered around scheduling or medical issues. An example of an informative response was regarding an individual's need to store his insulin in the refrigerator. I never would have known to ask that. And now I can prepare for it.
Some of the ridiculous responses (all offered by "men"):
I don't care. And this is not relevant to anything. And I have no idea who Ms. Lippy is.
"Global Warming"
Wow. Thanks. I'll keep that in mind.
"The gospel has been restored"
Already knew that one.
"Do you know that you can tell the temperature by counting the number of chirps a cricket makes in a 14 seconds period and adding 40 for the temperature in Fahrenheit?"
Ummmm..... This isn't even slightly funny. Stake dances, it's all your fault!

I will accept the temperature response and raise you that one should divide the result by pi to figure the temperature in Celsius. Also.. what is a stake dance?!?!
