Secondly, because Brian came to Michigan to visit. He told me he's never living in Michigan because there is too much snow (even though we only really got snow today) and that he could never shovel it. He nearly had a heart attack apparently... he needs to do some serious cardio to keep up with me.
We also went to Detroit and just drove around. We never did take a picture at 8 Mile, but I think he enjoyed driving through the city. Then he decided that he wanted to be an international traveler on this vacation, so we turned on the tunnel (without passports or proper identification) and went to Canada. The woman blocking us from Canada was fairly upset with us... Apparently you can't take pictures at the border. And just bringing your driver's license isn't enough (which I know, but it was spur of the moment). The bridge probably took a little longer that the tunnel, but the guy was much nicer and just asked us where we were born. Yes, I was a little worried they were going to search my car or something, but all they would find were the Hymns and an extension cord. Our travels within Canada were pretty simple. It was so cold along the river. My eyes were watering so much and it was so freezing. We were outside for about 20 minutes. Then we drove back across the bridge. It took awhile and the GPS system went down, so we had to pull out a MAP... Travesty, I know!
We also went to the Detroit Temple, and I got my endowments taken out. It was a good experience. I'm sure we did some other stuff too, but all in all, it was a good week.
We played a lot of games because we're game people. And I learned that Wii works a lot of muscles that I apparently do not use. Bowling is so fun though. I'm still in the 125-145 range, but I'm sure I can do better. Brian didn't like Mario Party because it took too long to play one game, but I thought it was more like a regular video game.
We did a lot of other stuff too, and we didn't do a lot of stuff... like drink Vernors or go sledding. However, we did spin out on M-5 and nearly get in an accident. Luckily we weren't one of the 10 cars we saw in the ditch.
In case you were wondering, JUMBO EGGS are the most common type of eggs, which is why they are cheaper than 'large' eggs. This is what my parents taught us this week.

Holy Freakin´ cow! What a week. Well, I hope you enjoyed the company of my bro...I missed him. Still haven´t heard anything from him. It sounds like yall had a killer time and it couldn´t have been better. Congratulations on your endowments and a great Christmas break. I hope you got Brian good with a big fat snow ball.
Lynn,
ugh... no I had to watch The Graduate for my class on the 60s... I'm not due to watch that movie again for... 20 years when it's on mini-micro film - MMFs.
Michelle,
We had a great time. He's not good at keeping in contact with the family apparently. I didn't get him that good with a snowball, but the shock of spinning out on the freeway was nearly enough to kill him.
